Hiking
In the heart of the bushveld, and yet so close to both Johannesburg and Pretoria, the Horseback Africa lodge residents can enjoy a hiking trail called the Blue Trail where one can experience unspoilt nature at it’s best within our province.
It is an interesting three-kilometer hike from the stables and over a mountain and then back onto a country road heading “home” again. There is always the chance of meeting a giraffe on the way, and the scenery is spectacular all year round. This hike is free for residents in the lodge.
